Adrogue

In our Literarture lesson we were asked to write a poem describing our town, Adrogue. We did it in response to the poem "Where I Come From" by Elisabeth Brewster

Where I come from,
Pure nature appears at the first ray of sun.
The trees, where innocent nature lies,

are awaken by the singing creatures.
People carry on their soul the freshness of the suburbs,
To burn it in the hot blood
of the citys`s heart.
Houses are an oasis in the desert of activity
of the centre.
Evenings in Autumn are the essence of Adrogue
with it`s unique fragance,
including tranquilness in the air.
