Definition Essay

  The definitions from the dictionary are very incomplete because friendship is not only the condition of sharing a friendly relationship and the feeling and behaviour that exists between friends. It is more than that.

  In our point of view the word friendship has 2 meanings, one meaning is the good relationship that 2 or more friends have. For example, the good relationship that all the boys in the class have.

 The other meaning of friendship is the secret and big problems that two real friends share without sharing that to anyone else, for example, the secrets that Gonza says to me.

 Finally, friendship is the best noun that exists in my opinion. I think, that friendship is not only a noun, it is also a feeling.

Dibujos de los hielos continentales

 Luego de observar imagenes de los hielos continentales realizamos un primer dibujo donde aplicamos lo observado en ella (formas colores, transparencias, etc). La técnica que aplicamos fue en lápices de colores.

Éste fue el segundo dibujo de lo hielos. Técnica lápices de colores, pero ésta vez incorporamos más colores como un tono verdoso, marrón(por la tierra), más azules, etc.

El tercer dibujo de los hielos, lo hice con técnicas mixtas (guesso y acrilicos). Luego, deformé un poco el guesso para que se forme un relieve. Al secarse el guesso, lo pinté con diferentes tonalidades de azules.

El último dibujo de los hielos constó en imaginarse qué tienen los hielos continentales adentro. En mi caso, dentro de los hielos se encuentra un mundo de seres extraterrestres. El dibujo lo pinté con acrílicos y usé guesso.

Dear local authorities from Calcutta,
   I am Fausty. I am 14 years old. I am a student from Newlands. I am writing to complain about the problems of this place (Calcutta): Housing: many people have no home. Over a quarter of a million people are forced to sleep in the open.
   Another problem is employment : people with jobs use their homes to work . Other people are unemployed, so they have no money.
 I went to the city hall and I told the authorities  about these problems. They tried to solve but they told me: It was not their problem.  I am very  angry about that.
 These  people  are humans, they  have rights, so I think that the people need respect  and we have to help them
Please inform me in writing by september, 6th, how you will solve these problems.

Essay

 C.A.P stands for "common agricultural policy" this was set up in 1962 in Europe.
    When it started , some of the objectives were : to create one single market in which agricultural products move freely , to give financial support to farmers, to increase the average of field size , farm size and farmers income. In this Essay we are going to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the C.A.P.
     The advantages are the following: many people can have a job , so , more money enters , prices of things are not high , and therefore everyone can buy things; farmers , instead of having a life , a hardworking life , they have a "normal" life , and they have more free-time.
     The disadvantages of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) are these: there was an rise in food prices , peripheral farm units were still very small and often uneconomic , there were high cost of subsidies , farmers spent insufficient time working in farms and ther was destructions of hedges to create larger fields destroyed  wildlife and increase the risk of soil erosion. The ones that weren`t involved in the C.A.P dindn`t suffered all this.
      As we can see, the C.A.P brought advantages and disadvanteges for the market.  

El volumen de los hielos continentales

    Con Claudia, averiguamos la equivalencia del volumen del agua derretida de los hielos continentales con una pileta de 25 metros (de largo) por 10 metros (de  ancho) y 2 metros de profundidad.

 Entre el 1968 y 1975, la pérdida anual del Glaciar Perito Moreno promedio fue de 13,5km3. Entre 1995 y 2000 la pérdida anual promedio subió hasta 38,7km3. Cálculo de la pérdida de estos 12 años:

7(años) . 13,5 km3 = 94,5 km3

5 (años) . 38,7 km3 = 193,5 km3

Suma de resultados :

94,5 km3 + 193,5 km3= 288,0 km3  =  Pérdida de agua en éstos 12 años.

Pileta de 25m . 10m y 2m de profundidad :

25m . 10m . 2m= 500m

Para reconocer el volumen, debemos sacar la equivalencia de 288 km3 a m3

288km3= 288000000000m3

 La pérdida promedio de agua del Perito Moreno en (1968 hasta 1975) y (1995 hasta 2000), equivale a 576000000 piletas de natación de 25m . 10m y 2m de profundidad .

The lake district National Park.

   I've recently spent a long weekend in the Lake district national park, in England. It was the best mini-break I've ever had!

   The best thing about the lake was the climbing. It was very intresting and funny. Other intresting activities were: the slide, trecking, the helicopter flying, the parachute, etc.

   I loved the lake because it is an intresting, wonderful and relaxing place to visit. In the lake there were a lot of animals and plants, for example, birds, fish and ants.

   So, with all this attractions, I recommend going to the lake district national park. En el video de nuestro equipo lo que Mateo hizo fue buscar algunas de las fotos que aparecen en el video junto con Juani.
 Ramiro , se encargó de la musica.
Roman y Joaquin, se encargaron de la administración del video (subtitulos, efectos, etc.). mateo aporto unas ideas sobre la administración. También, joaquin aporto un video.

El agua potable

       Llamamos agua potable al agua que podemos consumir o beber sin que exista peligro para nuestra salud. El agua potable no debe contener sustancias o microorganismos que puedan  provocar enfermedades o perjudicar nuestra salud.

    Por eso, antes de que el agua llegue a nuestras casas, es necesario que sea tratado en una planta potabilizadora. En estos lugares se limpia el agua y se trata hasta que está en condiciones adecuadas para el consumo humano.

    Desde las plantas potabilizadoras, el agua es enviada hacia nuestras casas a través de una red de tuberías que llamamos red de abastecimiento o red de distribución de agua.

                                                  Cantidad de agua potable en la Tierra

  En la Tierra hay unos 1.400 millones de km. cúbicos de agua.el 3% de ese agua es agua dulce, es decir 42 millones de Km. cúbicos.

                                                  ¿Cómo se potabiliza el agua?

  Para que el agua que captamos en embalses, pozos, lagos, etc. sea adecuada para el consumo humano, es necesario tratarla convenientemente para hacerla potable. Este proceso se denomina potabilización y se realiza en las plantas potabilizadoras.

Los hielos continentales.

Los hielos continentales, cubren una superficie parecida a la de la capital federal.

  En estos hielos, se realizan expediciones. Unas de las más conocidas es la Expedición Bicentenario, que trata de gente que hace expediciones a diferentes lugares, y una de ellas, es los hielos.

  En la expedición a estos hielos, lo que hicieron fue enterrar en una parte de los hielos, capsulas que contienen sueños de niños que fueron escritos en el 2010 para luego ser leidos en el año 2110 para el tricentenario de la patria.

  La gente que hace esta expedición, es gente experimentada en tipos de lugares como estos. Para hacer la expedición, obviamente, nececitaron equipo especial, por ejemplo: Zapatos con estacas en la suela.

  Ellos, generalmente, van de a tres. Pasan por el cerro Fitzroy, uno de los cerros más difíciles de escalar.

My Bedroom

     There are three reasons why I like my bedroom. Firstly, it has a lot of toys, videogames and posters. Secondly, it is a quiet and relaxing place. Thirdly, I can study very well there. All in all, it's a beautiful room.

     My bedroom is special because I can do many things there. Firstly, I can dance and sing. Secondly, I can play with my friends with the computer and the playstation. Thirdly, I can listen to music at a high volume. As a result, my bedroom is perfect to do what ever I want

Report on how to recruit teenagers to join to our political party.

Introduction:

The purpose of this report is to inform the boss Hitler about what things teenagers like to recruit them to the party. Some of this things are: food, music, fashion and clothings.

Food:

The food that teenagers like is the one that contain salt, for example french fries, milanesa, eggs and meat. Also, they like cakes, chocolate, desserts and sweets. This is good because we can make meetings in Mc Donalds.

Music:

The music that teenagers listen to is the rapid one like reggaeton, electronic and remixed songs. Teenagers hate listening to classical music and pop music. This favours us because we can organize a concert with reggaeton and electronic music.

Conclusion:

All in all, if you follow my advice, many teenagers would come to your political party

 Problems in Rio de Janeiro

    How would you feel about living in a disgusting place ? My journey in Rio de Janeiro was negative because I went to the Favella and there I saw dead people and a Policeman trapped.

    Rio de Janeiro was a negative experience also because the food was horrible and the water was polluted . Some parts of Rio de Janeiro were nice because the water was tasty and transparent.

    There , people were very poor and all the trees were felt down .There were a lot of dead animals and others without home . There were a lot of skinny kids because of bad nutrition and the food was missing.

    Rio de Janeiro is a horrible place , but the experience was unfogettable. I learned Brasilian culture and Portugese. Next time I will choose a better place !

Expedicion Bicentenario

Desde el 25 de mayo de 2010, hasta el 25 de mayo de 2011, se realizaran las siguientes acciones:

Los testimonios de la generacion del bicentenario hacia la del tricentenario se colocaran dentro de unas cajas de metal , y van a ser entregados a los jefes de la expedicion para que los lleven a cada uno de los lugares.

Se van a llevar a cabo las expediciones, tomando los puntos de latitud y longitud donde van a ser ubicadas las cajas.

Junto a las cajas, se dejarán los sueños de los niños, impresos en pequeñas banderas celestes y blancas biodegradables, unidas unas a otras.

El viento se encargara de hacer llegar a cada uno de los lugares de Argentina los sueñoss para hacerlos realidad.

Al finalizar, se va a entregar a la nacion, un documento donde constara la informacion de las 27 expediciones, destacandose el contenido y las ubicaciones de cada una de las cajas, de manera que la generación del tricentenario pueda ir en busca de las mismas en el año 2110.
