Definition Essay

  The definitions from the dictionary are very incomplete because friendship is not only the condition of sharing a friendly relationship and the feeling and behaviour that exists between friends. It is more than that.

  In our point of view the word friendship has 2 meanings, one meaning is the good relationship that 2 or more friends have. For example, the good relationship that all the boys in the class have.

 The other meaning of friendship is the secret and big problems that two real friends share without sharing that to anyone else, for example, the secrets that Gonza says to me.

 Finally, friendship is the best noun that exists in my opinion. I think, that friendship is not only a noun, it is also a feeling.

Dibujos de los hielos continentales

 Luego de observar imagenes de los hielos continentales realizamos un primer dibujo donde aplicamos lo observado en ella (formas colores, transparencias, etc). La técnica que aplicamos fue en lápices de colores.

Éste fue el segundo dibujo de lo hielos. Técnica lápices de colores, pero ésta vez incorporamos más colores como un tono verdoso, marrón(por la tierra), más azules, etc.

El tercer dibujo de los hielos, lo hice con técnicas mixtas (guesso y acrilicos). Luego, deformé un poco el guesso para que se forme un relieve. Al secarse el guesso, lo pinté con diferentes tonalidades de azules.

El último dibujo de los hielos constó en imaginarse qué tienen los hielos continentales adentro. En mi caso, dentro de los hielos se encuentra un mundo de seres extraterrestres. El dibujo lo pinté con acrílicos y usé guesso.

Dear local authorities from Calcutta,
   I am Fausty. I am 14 years old. I am a student from Newlands. I am writing to complain about the problems of this place (Calcutta): Housing: many people have no home. Over a quarter of a million people are forced to sleep in the open.
   Another problem is employment : people with jobs use their homes to work . Other people are unemployed, so they have no money.
 I went to the city hall and I told the authorities  about these problems. They tried to solve but they told me: It was not their problem.  I am very  angry about that.
 These  people  are humans, they  have rights, so I think that the people need respect  and we have to help them
Please inform me in writing by september, 6th, how you will solve these problems.
